Rickshaw wallahs of Dhaka
Bangladesh is known for its rickshaws with over 400,000 in Dhaka alone. The cycle rickshaw is well-suited for a largely flat country and is the only way to get around during the monsoon rains. Drivers ride in stifling heat and horrendous pollution for around four dollars a day. They range from teenage boys to men in their eighties. These images are from areas all over Bangladesh and I hope they show the diversity of ages and faces along with the dignity of these often downtrodden men
